I got an HP Refurb that "Met HP's Demanding Quality Standards" with two Trojan.Gen.2's and was so screwed up it was nearly inoperable. I then got a Toshiba, And it worked fine.

I had a HP Pavilion desktop back when XP came out. Those forgeters never DIE! I just upgraded the RAM slightly from 128 MB to a gig and it works like a charm.
