Anyone remember Blockland V8?

I had the most fun in v10, blockland just isn't that fun nowadays for me.

I miss the old servers, They were just so much more fun. Now there's half of an unpopulated server list...

TDMs were better, freebuilds were friendlier, everyone knew eachother (Somewhat), I wish I could host an ideal server (In my PoV).

Nobody can join my servers though for some reason.

v8 was the best time in Blocklands history, purely because the servers were much more fun, well made and imaginative.
Back then everyone did nothing but build and RP, nowadays everyone just laughs at roleplay servers, because nobody does them properly any more

Yeah, I remember playing in an RP a few years ago and it was fun, I got a store setup and I got robbed a few times but it was fun, also hammering peoples heads in were enjoyable until the police chased you :D

Everyone just looks fondly on v8 because the community was smaller and a lot of decent players still played then. Its all relative to when you joined. There was nothing special about it, don't let the hype fool you.

Of course we do, because that's why it was good, there were always fun servers to play on no matter what and everyone was, relatively, friendly.
v8 WAS great and it's not just because of nostalgia or hype

You must have been playing a different v8 then because apart from a less diluted community there was a lot to complain about in that version and if I recall people couldn't wait to be in v9.

because you joined sometime around v8 so they were all new.

anyways, i do remember my v8 days, i remember loving "Stranded RPs" and "Pirate Conquests" (both by the same host who was my friend through v15 or something, i still have him on skype)
i honestly don't view them any different than i do these days but i guess i did enjoy the smaller community.


also, does anyone remember/have the Emerald Isles maps?
i already have 4. i want to know what happened to 3, 2 and 1.
