She has her own group of people, and I am not one of them. It is a group people can be ashamed of being in and therefore wouldn't believe you if you said "I like the parody! D:" His old music was on songs which were believable in such a way. Something you couldn't get into such situations with.

Honestly you shouldn't dislike "Weird Al" just because he is doing parodies of stuffty songs, thats pretty much all he has in terms of making parodies of.

The songs he used to parody were considered good but simply got overplayed. Now he's parodying controversial songs which got a majority their attention from that. It's a different thing, but I'm not sure he gets that completely. And I won't be dragged into the argument because I like a parody of it, because those are the types of songs where if you say "No, I don't like it" they will go "Ya, right. ;)"

And I will not stand accused of it.
