Author Topic: Aasdwcagdfg I think my desktop computer broke. Help?  (Read 453 times)

I woke up this morning to find that it won't work. Once I turn it on, the power light goes on, and the fans start blowing and such, yet nothing ever displays on the screen. I left it turned on for about an hour and still nothing came up on the screen.

Is there any way to determine if it is broken, and what part of it is broken?
There was a power outage during the night if that contributes. I have a surge protector or whatever those things are though.

It's sad. Summer starts out with everyone getting new computers, and ends up with them all breaking.

Oh christ, this isn't some new computer. It's years and years old. Piece of stuff.
But I have all of my data on it and have no money to buy a new one so I'd be stuck using a laptop unable to code/play games. ;u;

Try unplugging everything and plugging them back in.

OH MY GOD
YOU AREN'T ON STEAM
HOLY CRAP

I have tried that.

OH MY GOD END OF THE WORLD APOCALYPSE IS UPON US TO THE SHELTERS

Power outage could reset your CMOS which could clear the BIOS settings which control your graphics controller.
Is there an onboard videocard that you can use?
