Author Topic: A death and a birth. Funeral and a Wedding.  (Read 2973 times)

On the 19/08/11, at around about 8 o clockish at night, my granddad passed away, he was suffering from pain, his lungs was filling up with stuff, he had lung cancer, he was so much in pain, I was so sad, I spent so much of my life with my granddad, 13 loving years of growing up with that loveable granddad, and now he's gone, when I heard the news,I was shocked more than crying, it feels like I'm almost totally brain dead and don't know what to do, I haven't been able to sleep at all, and I'm really sad. But a few hours later, then I was told that my cousin had just given birth to a baby girl, at around 2AM.

I won't have anyone there for me when I need my computer fixing/or need a upgrade, I won't have anyone there for me to just to talk to about computer stuff. I won't have anyone there to comfort me.

So I'm confused so much right now. I'm going to have to go to a funeral, then I'm going to have to go to a wedding.

So basically I've just cried myself to sleep, and what I was wanting to know, has anyone of your relatives died, and how did you feel about it?

Man, I feel sorry for you, My mom died in a car wreck when I was 8, I wasn't so sad about it at the start, but once I found out about death, I missed her like hell and cried. :c But still, May your Grandpa Rest In Peace.

You'll feel dead inside for the next few weeks. I prefer not to think of "They're dead now what will I do now", I like to remember who and what they did and honor that memory of them.

I feel dead so much, I feel like I need to whack my head on the keyboard, so tired and just, dead.

1. Read computer book
2. Create computer program that talks to you in grandpa's voice
3. ??
4. Talk to grandpa about computers.

My grandfather died last year. He was suffering from lung cancer too because he smoked constantly. I wasn't that close to him, but my mother was. She wasn't herself the weeks after. :c

Back in 2008, my grandad died from a major stroke that weakened him and his immune system, then got pneumonia shortly after. I remember the last time I went to see him. With all the medical equipment keeping him alive, I couldn't stand to see him like that.

Five days later, they pulled the plug. The doctors estimated he would have had only another week to live anyway. I was so sad, I couldn't eat for 3 days.

My grandfather died two or three years ago, and my great grandfather is currently in the hospital(He's 97), but is doing well.
In all honesty i don't really feel any sadness. Not because i'm an starfish but because i just don't think you should cry over death. Many people will disagree with this and i'm completely okay with that, just my thoughts.

I've never had a very close member of my family died, however, I am very apolegetic for your loss.  :panda: May his soul prosper wherever he goes.

I feel really sad for you man :c

Btw, Isn't it a bit odd that when people die someone else is born?

This happened in my family and friends family to, one of my cousin's died, new cousin pops out.

It's strange, because my nan died before I was born.
Like a few hours before.

my deepest condolences.

p.s that's a lot of ,,,,, you have there

Same for me, but I feel deeply sorry for you. I have an awesome grandfather too, and when he dies, I think I'll die inside. He's the only guy I've never actually been mad to. My dad, yeah, a bit. My mom, maybe a tiny bit more. Grandma, uugh. Everyone else? Meh.

But enough about me.

my grandfather died earlier this year.. sorta know how you feel
as well as 2 dogs :/

sorry
