Look up "When Cheese Fails" on youtube for the best sc2 videos ever.

Also keep in mind that the $60 is an investment. You might just become a pro and get paid over $100,000 a year to play it! The arguably best zerg player Idra charges over $300 an hour to teach people how to play.

Woah. I'd like that. Will League of Legends experience be helpful?

Also, I know this question sounds like bullstuff, can I lock the camera on a scout or something so I can directly control it? I'm pretty sure I could grab a Hero in Warcraft, lock Camera and play him while managing the others every now and then.

A scout is just when you send one of your workers to look at the other players base. There are no heroes on SC2, SC2 is way more massive scale than WC and more fast-paced and so there are no heroes or special units in standard play. And yes you can lock your camera on guys and hotkey unit groups or building groups and press the hotkey to switch the camera and target between them and pretty much anything else you can imagine. Basically you tech up by building more buildings or upgrading structures or units, you can get units special abilities and upgrade their armor and weapons, and there are different tiers of units, but the higher tier units aren't always better than lower tier units, for example thors are the most expensive and massive unit for terrand but fully upgraded zerglings, the lowest unit on zerg are far superior to thors in cost efficiency.

There are simple strats that are powerful and super complicated strats, so a beginner still can have a chance and lots of times pros will use beginner strats and just rely on their exceptional army control to win. And I added you to steam if you wanna talk about it more.

How much is it? My best friend is about to buy it and I want to learn how to destroy him with Zerg, because he always says Zerg sucks richard.
All the best pros are zerg but the reason your friend says zerg sucks richard is because protoss and terran are infinitely times easier to play as a newb than zerg. Zerg only has 2 easy strategies that a newbie can use to win with and both of them are beaten by most of the protoss and terran newb strategies in which they have tons of. I played like 10 games as terran and won almost all of them and went straight to silver division and then I went to zerg and lost every game. Also it's $50 or $60 but it's worth it and don't expect the price to drop, ever. Even diablo 2 which is 10 years old costs about as much as it did. SC2 has hundreds of custom maps you can play and some of them are even FPS maps so the replayability is literally endless. You name something there is a custom map of it on SC2.
