Author Topic: So I was riding my brother's dirt bike...  (Read 1019 times)

We were working at my grandads house, I was using the tractor to pull out plastic tubing from the ground and my brother rode up to me on his bike with the bolt cutters and gloves. He asked if I wanted to give his bike a try. I gladly accepted.

The amount of power involved with this bike is loving mad... it's a 250CC full size, and first I was just riding around on flat ground in 1st gear. It's a standard transmission bike of course. As I got used to shifting gears, I decided to give it a few laps around the back field, as soon as I got used to the gears I forgetin' floored it.

This bike is a blast and 3/4s.

Soon he's going to get his M1 license, the street kit for the bike and insurance, then he's going to use it on the road to get to school and stuff. I'm tempted to do it myself.

Horeeschitt. discuss teh dirt bike.

250cc
damn son

dirt bikes are always fun.

I want a dirt bike.

I'm stuck with a 4 wheeler and a Dodge Durango for now, though.

I used to have a mid-sized 80cc dirtbike I would ride around on trails when I was about 12.

Once day I accidentally popped the clutch when my hands got sweaty from the heat and the clutch slipped from my fingers. It took off very fast, I was holding onto the handlebars like superman, my stomach was on my seat, and I hit a bump and flew off. It was scary at the time, but I look back at it and it's kinda funny.

i've ridden 125cc's that are more powerful than they're supposed to be lol.
and the first time i did i never found out until i gunned it on 2nd gear lolol

nearly fell off doing a damn wheelie.

Just wondering before I get one. Are these things street legal?

You also need an Enduro (street) kit, that includes headlights, taillights, turning signals, street tires, etc. Then you need your Motorcycle License, and of course insurance, which will cost you money, lots of it.

I have a go-kart that my dad made the engine for. It can go bout 60. Then my dad has a big ass dune buggy. Used for the mountains and uses 3 brakes. Left, right, floor. It's a 5 speed manual of course. Has like 560 horse power. Runs on racing fuel. Has a roll cage and all. Huge.  Like tractor tires on back :P
Here look:

And here is my dad's '71 ford Thunderbird all original. Original tires and paint. Nice, and runs good too.
These are on craigslist for sale if anyone wants to buy :P

That's loving hardcore. o_o

also, forgot to mention, when I went to stop after I was done, I accidentally stopped on a bit of a sideways slope and the bike tipped over, but I managed to lift it back up again even though it weighs a stuffload.
