I usually thought that people who typekill don't know that you're doing so.

If turn around the corner, and you see someone that is typing a message (And was doing so before you found them), it's not nice to kill them.

In a DM, wasting your time waiting someone to finish their unnecessary task before you draw fire on them is stupid.  Why would I hold up the DM by waiting for them?

If there was a mod that prevents type kill idiots would abuse it by glitching them out so there invincible. And don't talk while playing talk wait til your dead or nobody is near you.

Exactly. I loving hate it when I go to a deathmatch server, and when I kill someone who is typing, he goes, "DUDE! WHY'D YOU KILL ME I WAS TYPING!!!!11"

My favorite solution was Amade's script.
It pretty much made you take like 80% less damage while typing or something.
Of course, still taking damage so that it wasn't abusable.

IMO it should have detected if you started firing while typing and then disabling the protection...

Either way, it just depends.
Personally I think that it's self defense: kill them, or wait for them to kill you.

if you want to type while in a dm, hit enter if you see someone coming at you so you can kill them then keep typing

The thing I HATE is that they ask admins to ban you just because they typed in a TDM where you kill each other.

This is Counts server. I've seen countless complains, so eventually I've decided just not to typekill unless I'm right in front of them with my knife ready when they start typing.

Imagine this scenario though;

>Admin: What did fancy do wrong?
>Noob: HEE HAZ AIMBOT. (It's a complete lie, it was a lucky kill/they're inexpirenced/I typekilled them for being stupid)
>*Fancy gets killed*

>*Round starts in middle of my typing*
>*Noob kills Fancy*
>Noob: HAHA LUL U SUK.

I could've just hit enter, but it wouldnt make sense and it'd make me either look guilty by backing out of typing, or I'd put in an imcompleted sentence. I hate these kinds of hypocrites.

He's not saying he was typekilled and is going apestuff, he's saying he thinks "typekill" is stupid, and anyone who does type whilst in a battle, that other person has a right to kill him.

Personally, I hate admins that do this. It's like MAYBE IF YOU DON'T TYPE, YOU'LL BE ABLE TO KILL PEOPLE.
