Pretty sure Packer knows far more about game design than you do, considering he can do more than make sketches.

Ok sure he does. Because he totally is going to an institute for it. I can make more then just sketches, why else would I go to basically college for this?

because you DONT know how
you go to college to learn, not because you already know

DISORDER

A four-player co-op game where you have to explore a creepy location to find an object. There is one patrolling monster. If you go too far away from eachother, voice chat cuts off. You are not alerted if anyone dies. Intense "OMG AM I THE ONLY ONE LEFT" moments go.

All.

My.

Money.

My list

1.Sandbox
2.FPS
3.Multiplayer RPG/MMORPG
4.Zombie

Congratulations! :D

Try something simple yet well thought out, something that took a lot of time and a lot of heart (Unless your just in it for the money, in which case what ever is cheap and quick. You'll also need a gimmick. Like juggling.). A compelling story line balanced with challenging game play is often the best formula for games. A good amount of risk, perhaps going into a smaller field of games (Puzzle games, for example, seem to be lacking due to fear of Portals. :P), with the safety of familiarity, working with that which you know and enjoy. Good luck on what ever you decide to do, though.

Also, was I the only one that thought he was accepted into a mental institution at first? :U

Game design is a pretty broad subject. Is there anything specific about it that you want to do (software developer, 3D modeler, concept artist, database architect, etc)?

Also, going to an institute specific to one industry seems dangerous, especially when it's a competitive industry like game design.

More of a concept designer if you ask me.

Add "rhythm" to the favorite genre list. C:

Nope

Nope

I have no reason to go there. Maybe you people need to get your people right.

Honestly, I barely know who you are, and I didn't know any "Aplem" at the top of my head. Sorry.

Aplem is the fat kid from Tinychat I think

Anyway stop being such a pissy pants
