Djy's computer sometimes makes the terrain surrounding the Bedroom looks handicapped, my guess is that it's artifacts, your video card is dying. Be ready to replace it.

my comp does give me a message saying it's low on virtual memory sometimes. is that a sign?

Your card and virtual memory are 2 completely different things.

the memory=too much stuff is "loaded" on the computer (I think)
just close some programs, or buy more R.A.M. (Random Acess Memory)
