I will never understand this. How do people get to such a low level of the social ladder that they have no friends? There are like ten kids in my school who I have never seen talk to anyone and in my opinion its their own fault. For one NONE of them take care of themselves so the guys have neckbeards and the women look like lesbians, and then they dont even try to find friends. I remember in 9th grade I was friends with these two loser kids for a while and they were always complaining that "school sucked" and "people around here are such starfishs thats why I have no friends!!!". School wouldnt suck if you actually made an attempt at being socially acceptable... ANYWAY whats your opinions on why people have no friends? Any personal experience? Thanks!

I had very few friends in elementary schools. Yea I didn't try but I have a weird knack for being alone because I can concentrate better. But it's also the school's fault. I have a friend and in elementary she had no friends but in middle school she had a bunch of friends.

My elementary schools had very few people. In high school there's going to be like 900 people graduating with me so I'm bound to make friends.

In elementary and middle school I kept to a small group of friends.  We had small grades then and everyone else was a waste of time, too stupid or too much of a prick/bitch.

Once I hit high school, where the class of 2014 has about 300 people, I have maybe about 10-15 friends, way more than the old 3-6.  I'm fine with that, I don't want to be friends with too many people.

It's not some people's fault that they have trouble branching out or making social connections.  Some kids were raised without proper social skills, and some of them are just totally out of today.  I know one guy at school who's all big into like Nintendo and all that still, and always talks like 100% perfect English online.  He still somewhat manages an okay friendship with people as far as I can tell.

EDIT: Once and a while me and my buddy will call someone we both know, and tell them that they are our only friend. The awkwardness for them is too much, then my friend will call and do the same, which will give the other person the signal it's a joke. c:
