laptops for everyone

My school is planning to get netbooks for everyone within two years. If the pilot class for the netbooks is approved, then we won't be issued textbooks anymore. Also, the AP and Honors classes will get Ipads instead of netbooks. It's going to be amazing :D

Anyone else have anything like this in their school?

I used to go to a Magnet School called STEMS where all the students had Laptops.

This neighborhood has more Mexicans then a San Diego High School. If you look at a class photo, it's like a smore without chocolate and 20 crackers. I know a person who still uses clay too insulate his house instead of ac. Go away :c

I do.

We take the comps home, and all that. Their practicly ours but we give them back at the end of school. Be warrned, kids will look up research and play flash games during class.

we rent macs all year for the school year (we have to rent them from the school so it will have all the software, so why the hell don't they add it into the tuition?)

Maybe its worth it if you get an iPad.

They will give you cheap netbooks, guaranteed.  Not like the high-end $500 Asus netbooks.
