It freezes, I left it on for 8 hours, didnt change.

Well, looks like your going to have to go into safe mode and figure out what is going on, reformat it, or get a new computer.

Could be a number of things. No error messages? Does it slow down before it freezes totally?
You could try reformat or install a test OS on another partition just to test whether it's hardware related or software related.

Damn, you beat me ethan.

Ontopic: probably a startup problem. Reinstall OS or go to setup before the computer boots and find a system repair.

I tried running safe mode it still freezes, I couldnt switch OS because it wont stay alive long enough for me to do anything. I had no error messages, no virus warnings, my computer is clean as a whistle.

Put in the disk before it boots, it will do the test OS. If it doesn't work with the test OS, you need to reformat your hard drive.

How would I go about doing that.

So there's no possible way you could possibly run another OS install on the same machine?

How would I go about doing that.

When you start the computer, open your DVD-CD tray, put in the test OS.

1) turn on the computer
2) open the disk reader quickly
3) put disk in
4) after computer crashes close the disk reader
5) turn the computer on again
6)???
7) profit
