Author Topic: My grandmother wants to add me on facebook.  (Read 1020 times)

So I get an add request and it's my grandmother. If I don't accept the friend request I'll have to deal with a constant guilt trip. If I accept the request I have to deal with embarrassing bullstuff for everyone to see.

What do I do?

Face the facts,

Family is not greater than friends.

Ignore it(i dont mean click the ignore it but leave it alone). you dont get Guilt or get embarrassd

Do what I do and tell them that it's nothing personal (they are family after all), it's just you don't add family on facebook, it's reserved for friends only. They understand.

She won't live forever man.

ignore it

say you never got it

works for me B)

Call her and say your facebook account was hacked so you can't access it and you're too busy to create a new account.

Why? If my family has an issue with how I interact with my friends, there's a bigger issue at hand.

You shouldn't place family before friends is all I'm saying.

I bet you theres a 40% chance that isnt your grandmother, and its some child enthusiast with her name.

or you could say you never got it and it was probably some other guy with the same name
