What is it?

The Gundam Series (ガンダムシリーズ Gandamu Shirīzu?) is a metaseries of anime created by Sunrise studios that features giant robots (or "mecha") called "Mobile Suits" (MS); usually the protagonist's MS will carry the name Gundam.

The Gundam series has been around for awhile and has spread to many different forms: Anything from LEGO, to action figures, to video games.

I loved the Gundam toys to pieces.
I think they were what got me into it originally. I've always been a fan of "mechs", and they were always really cool to me.

Gundam is heavily anime based, while mechwarrior is not. It's a shame Lalam won't see this topic, because he usually doesn't come in Off topic anymore.
I just recently started getting into Gundam, it's hard because I'm an old Robotech junky.
