Author Topic: Why I hate most rollercoasters  (Read 952 times)

I need to vent this because a lot of people I know in real life don't fully understand. I know some people will mock me here but oh well.

First of all, what I dislike is the empty stomach feeling. I know most people say the fear of it releases adrenaline, but I just clench up in terror instead, especially if I feel it over an extended duration.

Second, I have a strong fear of heights. This along with empty stomach feeling while looking down at the ground and going down 100 or so feet really fast is not necessarily fun for me.

However, I do not have any of these things on waterslides, probably because they are quick and not quite as focused on steep drops and such.

But I still hate most rollercoasters

I know that feeling bro
They're scary as stuff

I hate when people constantly bug me to go on and I say I don't like them then try to explain all of that and they think I'm just making up excuses.

I guess you wont be a fighter pilot then.

and then when they try to guilt trip you afterwards
I loving hate it

Man, I love rollercoasters, but I can't go on them much because of motion sickness.

Yeah, I know. Though I might work fixing jets as a career.

I like old Wooden Roller Coasters. They don't do ridiculous things and are pretty much my pace. I still like the adrenaline rush of the Storm Runner though.

I like them, the only thing I dislike is that feeling of exhaustion afterwards. I also hate when wooden ones are bumpy, can't stand that.

loving LOVE rollercoasters

I recently got to ride Kingda Ka, it is the tallest rollercoaster in the world with a drop of 456 feet. It shoots you straight up and straight down.  To get up the gigantic hill it shoots the carts up to 128 MPH in 3.5 seconds.

I love roller coasters. I am terrified of heights, but somehow doesn't affect me too much on the ride. Probably since I'm half excited and scared riding them. The only downside so far to them for me is that it makes my back hurt. I had to skip school the next day because it hurt so much.

I'm not a big fan of roller coasters, but I do like wooden roller coasters.

I loving love rollercoasters. I can ride them over and over and over, and i like the felling of you not even being on the seat, and then you suddenly realize that you were being held down by the lap bar, and then your like, mother forgeten' yeeaaahhh!

I hate rollercoasters with loops.

Hnnnggg my head and organs feel like they're flipping

Other than that I can ride just about any coaster I want to.
