Did you not see the broken bridge?

Our bridges are reopened, but they're big sturdy ones. :o

I lost power.
Just got it back like an hour ago.

I already get like 20 days off during winter.

I really don't care about having school be longer at the end of the year.
I never go for the last few days anyway.
Oh wait stuff, graduation this year. I guess I am going the last few days for ceremony practice stuff.

Haha no, you still have to learn for the added days.

Amazing you get away with annually skipping the same few days every year without notice. You should be suspended.

When you don't graduate, think of these posts and bawl your eyes out.

Do you have finals before everyone else?

yes
Then you need those extra 2 days on the end if omitted from the beginning.

The beauty. The pure, mad beauty of Irene.....

She knocked power off for two and a half days, flooded my Aunt's neighborhood, flooded my basement, cost millions in repairs for personal, corporate, and state affairs, killed 38 people, nearly killed me 4 times, and has sent a frightening silence throughout the east coast. And yet, I find a new level of respect for nature, as I do each time I witness one of these storms. I was inside the blunt of it, near the eye of this F1 hurricane, stared her down, and watched carefully to her work. Something that is indescribable, something that has always been impossible to fully explain. A feeling like no other. An odd mix of fear and courage, adrenaline and calm, chaos and reason. A burst of stunningly amazing contradictions, much like nature of Herself.

And this was just an F1. :O

It's been wonderful tracking her with ye all. Best wishes to any of those hurt by Irene to some extension and and I pray that each wound heals with Love and time, in one way or another. And I do hope all returns to normalcy once again sooner rather than later.
