Yeah, it happened to everyone I think. :( I used the New Wave GUI, but none of the custom GUIs or Brick Textures work anymore, now with v20. I'm starting to wish I never updated it. :(
But, it will more than likely get fixed in the near future.

they have to be made into proper add-ons that edit GUI controls. badspot made this change on purpose.

But uh, I don't think you can over-write any default components of BL anymore due to the launcher's input.
