Author Topic: My iPod broke Dx (Read 2735 times)

I got an ipod touch 3 days ago, i was walking away from my table and the head phones got tangled around my pants without me noticing, and it fell to the floor. Now it has a big crack across it. I want to get it fixed but the ipod repair guarantee doesnt cover it. the cheapest non apple service replacement is like $109.
I only had it three days and its already broke, but on the bright side it still works.

You should have just got a small cheap one if you where only using it for music, I've dropped mine about 8 times because of forgetting it's on my lap and it's never been hurt.

i've dropped mine on concrete and hardwood like 20 times, only the back is scratched

my iphone 4 has a few little scratches, but my otter box and now my bumpers have protected it.

i have had my itouch 3rd gen for over a year and a half or so, screen hasn't cracked at all. it only has scratches from over-use. case is broke-ass because i always drop it WITH the case on.

I think Ipods are somewhat nice because with Itunes its easier to place music back in and out and if you buy the dock, there's your clock. But if you are more of an on-the-go person I would suggest an mp3 player because they're cheaper and replacable.

they call it otter box because it's water resistant, you can completely submerse it and it will be fine if you pull it out fast enough.
