I only get this if I'm suffering from fatigue, any sleep deprivation (sleep less than 6 hours a day,) or am depressed.
A person of your characteristics might be vulnerable to at least one?

I have to, I front a death metal band and I need to drink it constantly to keep me from loving up my throat.
If being in a death metal band is a danger to your health then it obviously is a good idea to NOT be in a death metal band.

Water is tasteless and has no sugar or stuff in it, That's why it tastes so bad.

I dislike the taste of tap water, I usually only drink bottled water. It tastes... Cleaner.

Sometimes after a day of dehydration my lips become dry and I become extraordinarily thirsty, that's when water tastes the best.

I don't think it is really the taste, but the sensation of hydration.

You should see a doctor about it.  Could be some sort of deficiency.

Only drink water when you're really thirsty.

Water taste is different depending on how hydrated you are. Also, the water in your area is treated with mineral purification, giving it that stuffty taste. Mineral water is horrible, it tastes like dirty metal. Purifying your water with a 0 filter will make sure the water is pure.

Water tastes pretty good to me, though eating food makes me tired. :C
