Author Topic: I HATE MY loving COTTAGE  (Read 1028 times)

‎[rage]I hate our loving cottage. We go there every weekend all weekend until the loving winter. All we do there is work all loving day and come back late on loving Sunday. I can't do anything with friends because the cottage is supposedly "tore up" yet you can still maneuver around it just fine. UNTIL WINTER I can't do anything with friends because the STUPID cottage.[/rage]

[more rage]And my parents don't understand that I want to have FUN on the weekends not go work on some stupid house that we've been working on the past freaking five years. Apparently my mom came home from the cottage(they left yesterday)to pick up my and my brother LIKE AN HOUR AFTER SCHOOL. Yeah, so I find out that I can go over to someone's house so I ask and she says "she didn't come home for nothing" and how "she doesn't care if it's unfair". WELL I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE COTTAGE so GO BACK AND LET US STAY. IT makes me SO ANGRY if you haven't noticed. EVERY FREAKING WEEKEND!!![/more rage]

[even more rage]THEN SHE GOES ON TO TELL ME THAT I SHOULD BE THANKFUL THAT WE HAVE A "SUMMER HOME" THAT WE CAN DO "WHATEVER WE WANT ON THE WATER" AT. DOES SHE NOT KNOW THAT'S NOT MY THING. SWIMMING ALONE IS NOT FUN. THAT LITTLE BITCH.[/even more rage]

Sorry if I sound like a douchebag. Just really angry right now...

Dayum, you have my sympathies.

I'm...not...being...flamed?

Wow, I'm honestly surprised.

You have a friend mother

Sympathy doesn't really help, but I do still thank you.

cottage what the forget are you one of the seven dwarves or something

Be glad you have a summer home to work on. There are folks who don't even have one home. Make the best of it, appreciate you have parents who are trying their hardest for you and who provide for you. Plus, who knows, maybe one day it will be yours. Complaining about how "horrible" a mother you have will make your weekends no better nor go by any faster. :/

I'm not saying I have a "horrible" mother, I'm just angry about this one aspect. I'm going to tell you now that it's not all la-doo-da in my house though. They don't really care about anything I've been wanting or anything I say recently. They don't let me manage my own money, they get angry over the stupidest things, and they don't even think of reasoning with you if you ask them something, they just automatically say no.

It's a small vacation home.

I have to work on our house though, but it doesn't really piss me off.

I'm not so much angry about working as much as just going there every weekend and not even having a choice of anything else to do.

So you're the average American teenager. :I

Do what you will, vent if you must. It's good to get things off your chest. But just remember the things that truly matter at the end of the day. Realize that one day you'll look back and, hopefully, see how lucky you are. :/

Lucky is being cramped into a tiny cottage for 2 days every week when you could be doing something actually worth your time
