at this point, the medical benefits of circumcision are not quite standardized through the scientific community, the consensus to circumcise your child in a scientific cause was in the 40's to 50's, when the science was not really verified through any rigorous methods, but at the same time, noncircumcision hasn't been really show any major benefits except possible increased pleasure during intercourse, but this is purely speculation as the word of the subject can't be used as valid data when it's so subjective, plus, there is a statistical margin of STD's increased transmission rate in uncircumcised people, so it really all ends up on personal preference whether your parents circumcise you or not. the practice is dying out in the westernized world but continuing and growing slightly in the islamic states that exist.
