Do you mean maintain an angle? It swings open is the problem. But my mom get's super pissed when I use objects to keep it that way, she thinks I'm trying to keep her out.

Its a small wedge. It will keep the door at any angle, and it won't obstruct the doorway.

Its the angle the house is on. It might be on some king of hill or something. My back door in my house and my bedroom does that too:

BEDROOM: Slides open
BATHROOM: Slides Closed
BACK DOOR: Slides Closed

Also, I've have a different problem that's pretty irritating.
When I have my window open, and my door is open, the wind blows the door shut. Not slowly like you would close it, but REALLY loving FAST like in that scene from Paranormal Activity.
Sometimes it scares the stuff out of me.
