BL Key Problem

My BL keeps asking me for my key every time I log on. This has happened for 3 days now and I'm tired of it. And I have to restart BL each time I get on for RTB to show up my menu.

I had this problem once. I just backed up my add-ons and reinstalled and that worked for me.

That happens whenever I switch computers (i installed blockland on my flash drive), so i think it may be some sort of cache error. NOT SQL ERROR THOUGH.

This happens to me occasionally if:

- I close down Blockland with Alt-F4
- Close down my PC/Laptop improperly whilst still running the game
- Crash the game
- Switch between PC + Laptop

Don't do any of those things.

Chances are he's either switching between computers frequently, or his computer doesn't have write access to the key.dat file.
Do you play blockland on multiple computers?

Hit "Quit to desktop" In the server menu (When your in a server.)
Or, click "Quit" in the Main Menu

if you save BL to a flash drive, it'll ask for the key each time you change computers
the key.dat file is written with the computer, based on the computer, so you can't switch computers and have it work, which helps prevent key theft
so either have 2 different files, one for one computer and one for the other, or have 2 key.dat files which you switch out/in depending on the computer
or do what you're doing now :D
