Author Topic: I just spent $360 on scuba classes  (Read 1481 times)

I have quite a bit of studying to do (it involves books), some tests to take, and a five hour video to watch. My actual class days are September 10th, 11th, 17th, and 18th. I'll undergo lots of classtime, six confined (pool) dives, and one open water dive. After this, I'll be a certified diver.

Woo!

all that for a 75x75 avatar

When you Scuba-dive, you go underwater

WOW! Must be really cool down there.

And another $1,000 on gear. To get avatars. Yep.

Doing the PADI course? If you are, then the video is completely useless. It literally just says what the books says, and adds only some pathetically corny acting.

Don't get eaten by a shark and/or featured on next years shark week.

You know I would get a scuba license but I don't live near the ocean :P lol

It's totally worth it.

I watched the video and didn't read the book.
