In my onion, i think you make a great act.

Well in my opinion i feel like i am then talking to an idiot who can't see what an opinion even is.

In my opinion, Call of duty suck horse stuff and should be shoved into the nearest gutter and then have an evil clown from the sewer find the maker of call of duty and skin him alive and then he should make cod8 which will be absolutely loving terrible and will include guns that shoot nerf bullets at people.

 Did I do it right?

In my Opinion, your opinion is WRONG.

In my opinion, I am stating the wrong thing, and not stating my opinion at all.

This phrase seems like a powerful phrase to me. Say someone states their opinion on something like, say, Minecraft. They just say "minecraft sucks". When they say this, it gives others the impression that the one saying this believes that their opinion is definite and that starts arguments and disagreements. If someone were to say "in my opinion, minecraft sucks" or "minecraft sucks IMO" it wouldn't give the above stated impression. I feel that if people were to use the phrase "in my opinion" before or after stating their opinion things might be more peaceful with less arguments?

I mean, that's just how I feel, others may feel different. Just wanted to express my thoughts.
This is true, as whenever I see people say "in my opinion" (in any form), people tend to be less hostile.

Regardless, people still get very offended when your opinion doesn't match theirs'.

In some cases yes. Depends on how attached they are to the opinion in question.

Does the whole brony and anti-brony thing count?

Both sides are loving lunatics about being right or wrong.
