So there's this girl...
I met her at my church, of which we both go to. So I see her on Sundays. She is also in the church youth band, of which I am as well, and so I see her on Fridays as well as Sundays.
I've found a few things in common with her, including but not limited to:
A. We are both Star Wars nerds
B. We both hate math
C. We both play piano
I don't have and pictures of her (or myself for that matter) so I'll just describe her.
Her name is Rhianna, she's about 5'3", has dark brown slightly wavy short-medium hair that parts at her bangs on the right. The right part moves back to the side of her head, and the left part comes around her forehead. She doesn't have the most amazing laugh (it sounds slightly wheezy) but she seems to always be smiling when I see her. She has brown eyes that are very, very slightly on the smallish side, and her eyes squint when she laughs. She is better at playing piano that I am, and has decided on her own accord to teach me to play piano. She seems to take great care in doing this and has told me (she is moving next year) that she wants me to play piano for the band when she leaves. (She will come back in a year.)
But, anyways...
I am about 5'6", I have not quite as dark brown hair, bigish muddy green eyes, and I also have slightly wavy hair, but mine is a lot shorter. I have a sort of bigish nose, and I act like an absolute crazy person near her. At least I think I do. She likes when I squeeze Star Wars puns into conversations and such.
So...
Do I have a shot at her?
tl;dr: I like a really pretty girl I have stuff in common with
EDIT: I sorta just noticed this. Over the weeks, during the 'peace' at church (btw not a Christian side hug) a few weeks ago she seemed as if she was going to stretch out her arms for a hug, but then quickly moved instead for a handshake from me. Next week, she did the same thing. The week after, I caught her on it and hugged her. She did not seem offended in any way, although she did seem a little shocked. Next week, same as the one before. Last week, however, I walked up expecting the same story and she pulled me into a tight hug. We then moved on to the next people as usual.
What does this mean?
EDIT 2: Last night a red flag went up in my brain. It was a little something like, "WHAT THE forget. YOU CAN'T TELL HER YOU LIKE HER. WHAT WILL YOUR LIFE BE LIKE THEN WHEN YOU'RE AROUND HER? WHAT WILL HAPPEN THEN?" So I made a deal with my brain. Friday night, when I see her again, if we hit it off Imma go ahead and tell her. If not (and I don't mean not get along, I mean not have a really fun band practice together) then I won't.
The thing I really don't wanna end up doing is kicking myself for not telling her when she's gone. But, anyway...
My possible relationship status depends on Friday evening.
