It is just A german bastard sword. The name isn't German Bastard, but the type of sword is.

Bastard swords are called such because they're multi-handed swords. You can either go two-handed, or one-handed with a bastard sword, as it's too long to be a shortsword, and too short to be a longsword.

Get the Ryumon Katana. Katana's are made with two parts, a solid heavy metal core and a coating of extremely sharp metal. This allows for speed as well as strength. The Katana, if sharpened correctly can also cut through 1-2 people in a single blow. Not many swords can do that.

Everyone has a Japanese sword.

Sticklestad Viking Sword is what you need. It doesn't really matter, just don't get a katana. Every person and their mother has one.
