Author Topic: Install Minecraft to Network-less computer from another computer?  (Read 475 times)

There's an update out and I want to see if I can download all of it and put it on my desktop (my receiver broke on it)
how should I do this? I have all of the necessary drives/space for the files, I just want to know if it would even work and how I should go about moving the files from one PC to the next.

In your appdata is the .minecraft folder which contains all your Minecraft info and updates and saves.
Move that.

And then move the minecraft launcher.

k so, just as clarification, all I need to move is:
-entire Minecraft folder + launcher?

Well, technically only the bin file.. The saves will be the biggest thing if you copied the entire folder over.

yeh I figured
okay lol that's all good. I'm just waiting now since my flashdrive is slow as forget.
