Make it about a man who fights so hard to be a nonconformist, goes agianst everything he believes and Loves in order to convince himself he is not a hive mind, just "following the herd", and not part of any group (i.e. Trying to find his indicidual self without identifying with any other). But in the end, after finally reaching his goal, he finds that he is labeled a nonconformist like so many others who have done the same, leading to a shameful twist of irony. All done symbolically, of course. And very compact. :o
