How do you decode a DAT file? I want my key and the email i used to make it is gone. BL Support hasn't responded to any of my 5 messages in the last 3 months and i thought i might as well take things into my own hands. Ive seen that there are DAT. file decoders on-line but theres like 30 differnet types. what type would a blockland code be?

You cannot get your blockland key from the key.dat file because the information in it is unique to your computer, and Badspot never released information on how to read it.

Well that just rueind my day. Badspot or BL support hasn't mailed me back about my blockland key. So what should i do? i want to keep my name and my BLID, I'm proud of my those.

It was your responsibilty to keep track of your proof-of-purchase.

Look I'm not a computer person like you guys. So yea i kinda believed it till your comment. I can still play on this computer but it crashes like 5 times a day. I would meet Badspot on Blockland if i could but I'm sure he doesn't have time for that.

You can't decode the Key.dat very easily.

Why don't you just enter your key into your new computer?

Did you get a new computer? And what is your BL_ID and BL Name?

Just wondering. More on topic: I have my Blockland on a flash drive and I long ago saved a .txt file with my key so I would never lose it even if I lost the email.

Becuase i dont have a my key. I got blockland when i was about 10, and like a little kid i thought i would never need it again (but i was wrong). Now the email used to make it is gone and i have no idea how i could get it back. I would pay 20 to keep my name and BL_ID.

i havent gotten it yet but my BL_ID is 7707 and my BL name is Mack Attack.

I see why you would want to save it.
I asked about the computer because Blockland SHOULD recognize the cache and load it up... Given how long you have been gone though, it probably wont. I think there may be a way to change the email the key is linked to, but idk...

You can't read it because most .dat files are compiled.
