i really suck at the game and whenever i go above negative i consider that game a personal victory. the thing about cod is , IMO the campaign is very interesting, though it does have some strange plot holes. the multiplayer isn't as fun as the campaign simply because you're just repeating yourself. the only reason i buy fps shooters is because they usually have plenty of replay value.

I've seen way too much CoD bashing. I've played MW2 on the PS3 at a friends house, and it's just amazing. And I'm not just talking about the graphics. The gameplay is non-stop action, and it even has clever plot twists (unlike some claims). The ending was brilliant and dramatic, not some stupid shootout. Oh, and with the right tactics, I owned on multiplayer servers. It's not the "ogm hax errywhere" game people make it seem like.

Cod bashing is mostly bandwagoning as far as I've seen. Maybe it's similar to previous CoD games, but I have yet to judge that. My experience with Modern Warfare 2 was just too amazing.

I've played some Black Ops zombie modes, and I'm not impressed. The zombies are unrealistic as hell, and the guy's voice is obnoxious. At least it's not linear like L4D, but I still like L4D(2) more.

fps shooters are better when they are mostly linear with a bit of leeway, like different routs that could or could not make a difference on how you play the game. in mw2 you can basically go wherever you want as long as it's following the main rout, there are some levels where you basically just have to run around a map to survive, and i like that.

Exactly. That's what make "linear" games like L4D(2), Half-Life (2), and all the CoD games more fun.

exactly what i'm saying, unless the games have rpg elements thrown in like fallout, it should limit free roam. if that didn't happen the player would usually just wander around the map like a handicap going "where the forget did my unit go?"

Honestly, I don't like the Zombies feature, yet all of my friends who play BO are like ZOMBIESZOMBIESZOMBIES.
