Isn't the APC basically a small tank?

An APC is a tired, wheeled vehicle meant for public roads and such. A tank has treads and has different locomation. You could relate them in both being armored and heaving weaponry, but I'm just saying it isn't a tank. Really, just telling the truth.

Edit:
a tracked military vehicle with a steel or aluminum hull used to transport troops in combat and usually fitted with light armament.

Not as good as a tank.

Edit2: Uh... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armoured_personnel_carrier Well now I'm just confused. forget it. The things on the page that look like tanks don't FIT tanks, but then there's... Whatever. I give.

So basically it's perfectly normal to see an APC on the road? Ordering from McDonalds?

Am I the only one who doesn't like FPS Russia?
