Author Topic: Trying out for All State  (Read 987 times)

It doesn't determine who's best in the state. It determines who's best in the state who applied for Allstate.

Real musicians don't apply for stuff.

Are you well versed in music theory?
I'm pretty good when It comes to music theory in my grade, but they have us play a scale and an etude or something.

I'm think I'm gonna try out to but I'm in Highschool this stuff is real.

There's probably some kid like this.

Who's forced to practice 8 days a week and has prepared for this his entire life.
Being the best sounds like serious stuff.

I've never heard of this All State not car insurance thing though, could I get more info on it?

All I know is that it has a black guy so you probably should stay away from it.

Do it, I'm trying to do it to, the tryout piece for my state though is honestly not that bad, It's only a page long.

When you're offered life or death, you have to chose the Clarinet or you don't qualify for the contest.

Still worth a try, besides, we have to take an exam exactly like All State at the end of the year anyways :/

I dont really know much about it, it's more of a "Won't Know 'Til I Get There" thing.
