We got her at around the end of last year, and what'd she do? Change all the policies/rules/whatever that we've had forever to something nobody will ever accept. I believe she was a principal at a high school in my school district. No wonder she was kicked out. She's a dumbass.

Discuss this matter while I try and get something to eat (I'm hungry 3:)

Some things she changed-

•Tardies (A term we use if your late to class) are not collected by 6wks anymore, they are collected by semester.
•If you forget something and your teacher allows you to get it, you must have a pass.
•Pass to go anywhere.
•No backpacks throughout the school day for NO ONE under any circumstance-not even for the 'Special' kids.
•One of the Car rider line entrances cut off for SPeD buses only- therefore the Car line is clogged up MORE.
•If you want to change buses to ride home with a friend, it's not allowed anymore.

Some of my classes make us put them under our desk, but a few weeks in, they just stop caring.

I'm so glad I don't go to your school. I would challenge the rules to the point of suspension... Trust me, I've done it before... It's kinda fun for me.

Except the last one, they all sound reasonable. Why would you need a backpack in class, anyway? And what is so wrong with having to have a pass? It only helps the teachers monitor hall way usage better. And if you don't want to be tardy, don't be late. The permissible times allotted are plenty, I'm sure. The principal sounds like she is doing a fine job, though changing everything so sudden may be a bit....well, sudden. But things have a way of changing quickly and I'm sure rules will eventually be bent a bit and policy changed as time goes on and circumstances call for it. :o
