Author Topic: Stretchmarks?  (Read 1350 times)

So when I got home today I immediately threw my shirt off because it was hot outside.
Well, when I walked past my mom she said "What happened to your arms!"
I didnt know what she was talking about so I said, "Uh. What. Nothing?"
So then I went to the bathroom to take a gander at my arms.
Well, on both arms I have some "bad" stretchmarks.
I asked my mom and dad what they were from and my dad answered saying Fat, and my mom said Muscle.'

I havent gained any weight in awhile and have been lifting weights and doing pushups almost daily, so Im concerned where these stretchmarks came from.

Thanks.

i have a whole bunch of my back

looks like i was whipped

Extra skin from fat, which is now muscle

I have some too, it's not all that bad

except for the fact that it's skin Cancer and you need all of your skin ripped off immediately

The only way to get stretch marks is to like, get pregnant. You probably have like indian burn or road rash or something.

Not true.
I know some fat kids that have stretchmarks all over them D:

Cancer Skin is extremely elastic, so depending on the size and make of your arm, it could be strained by either fat or muscle, like your parents said. I'd bank on the latter is it started happening recently. If you're lifting weights and not doing any sort of cardio, then it is probably muscle building under fat and rapidly pushing your skin further. It will eventually go away, considering your age, if you lose the fat.

Same here.

Clothing is useful these days eh?

I've had stretch marks on my legs for the past several months

you shouldn't have done all the exercise in one go, you didn't let your skin adapt to the new muscle.

You gained a lot of mass, either fat or muscle, in a short time causing your skin to stretch somewhat.

Nothing serious.  Unless its fat.
