Author Topic: Haow2get Green Splotches of Screenies  (Read 644 times)

I've been shopping some Blockland pictures and I keep getting these color splotches of the Greenscreen map I use.
Prime Example

Haow2Fix?

No Modify Butten? Grr. Anyways, High Thresholds screw other parts up.

Your missing some of the green that borders your image. Your gonna need to cut it better. Turn the sensitivity of the magic wand tool up, otherwise it wont pick up everything.

Also taking a super DOF screenshot really helps with smoothing those edges so it wont be so pixelated.

Actually, having smooth edges makes background cropping much more difficult. You can always go over the rough edges with the feathering feature to make them soft.

Unless your referring to the poor quality of the image in general. Either the image was blown up from a small size or was exported as a JPG, which compresses color giving those odd discolored patches. I only save projects as PNG, less compression.

Dude, Thanks. I never thought It would be that.

Also, this forum generally pertains to the game itself and not editing images of it in unrelated programs. Not like you'll be in trouble for this, just remember that.

He's not lined up with the road. $50 says he crashes into a house.

That still looks pretty neat.

Use PNG for screenshots, JPEG is image compression.
