So last night I pulled an all nighter and ended up going to bed at 5:00AM. I had forgotten that today was sunday, so I honestly didnt give a damn when I went to sleep. Well, every Sunday my family drives 60 miles to go to a church we went to when I was little. Of course I never want to go because we get home at about 2:00PM. Well, when my mum woke me up at 7:30 to get breakfast, i was really tired. I went out to eat and then went back to sleep. At around 8:30 my mum walks into my room and says "Brandon, why the forget havent you woken up yet?" I wasnt sure what she ment, so I went back to sleep.
Apparently my mom was very upset with me that I didnt get up, and told me one last time, "Okay, were leaving".
I immediately jump out of bed, run into the kitchen to grab my shoes and socks, and head out into the garage. I was surprised when the car wasnt in the garage and no one was home. So I pulled out my phone and called my mum.
She answered almost immediately and said this in an upset tone, "Hello!?"
"Um. Hi. Where did you guys go"
"We left. Remember I told you we were leaving?"
"But I got ready after that"
"It doesnt matter. We'll discuss it when I get home."
"Wait... What? Am I in trouble?"
"Yes. I repeatedly told you to wake up and you didnt."
"Its not like I was being rude! You know I stayed up late last night!"
"Whats done is done. Bye."
So now I feel really bad, and im scared of what she will do.
Ive been thinking about the punishments she could give me for awhile, and this is what I thought of;
She could ground me - How long? I have no clue. Shes not the type of person who just hands out groundations.
She could take away my laptop - If she did this, it would probably be for the whole weekend.
She could set a curfew - I actually wouldnt mind this.
She could forget about it - Well, shes going to church and seeing her dad today, so she might be in a better mood when she gets home.
She could just talk to me about it - Shes been known to do this in the past. One time I got 3 days suspension and the only punishment she gave me was a 3 hour long talk.
I cant think of anything else she could do. Any help is appreciated.
