Author Topic: Bow painting  (Read 536 times)

Okayyyyy. So my bow (archery bow durr) is light green and the colour is pissing me off. So I wanted to paint it. But I need to know; what type of paint to I use?

Depends on what the material is.
I myself would just use normal paint.

I think it's fibreglass. But it's a recurve bow, so "normal paint" would probably crack and fall off.

Spray paint would just get all over the stringy thing. I don't know :I

I don't think there is anyway for you to paint it at home if it's flexible, all kinds of paints would just crack and chip off

I could take the string off...

There are these paints what I have used that kinda end up like rubber when it dries. Might that work?
Metal based primers.
Okay okay. I'll check those out.

Paint it a dark green.
