To change things up, I'd like to take a second to tell you all how my parents are pretty awesome lately.

Mom: I had my wisdom teeth taken out on Friday (all 4 of them). My mom drove me to the appointment, drove out to a Costco that's like...14 miles away to get my medicine, and ever since we've gotten home she's been taking care of me, putting ice on my face to keep swelling down, feeding me, and just helping me out overall.

Dad: My dad just got me and my friend tickets to Uproar festival on october 1st for free, all because he works so hard and his co-workers don't mind doing him a favor back once in a while.

My parents are pretty cool.
I get into arguments with my mom because she gets pretty bitchy sometimes.
Other than that I have no complaints. They are always fair as far as treatment of my brother and myself goes. For instance, every once in a while they'll send my brother some money to help in college and they buy me a video game to be fair. Which is odd, because every time they do so I tell them that they don't have to and that I wouldn't be insulted or whatever if they gave my brother more than me, and my parents claim that we will be tight on cash this year. They say that every year and I still manage to get a gift from them every once in a while.
