Author Topic: Why are "platinum hits" games so cheap.  (Read 2378 times)

So I was looking at buyign BFBC2 for Xbox 360 and I noticed that Platinum Hits version was only $20
and it was only rated 7/10

Why are platinum hits cheaper?

I would also like to know.

Because platinum is the only thing that can kill a furry, and so they make it easy to acquire for when you have to put down your own disgraceful children.

Are you assuming all furries are lycanthropes?

Are you assuming all furries are lycanthropes?

are you implying dragons are furries? because that's some creepy stuff.

Dragons have scales.

And Platinum hits usually means they've made so much money off of the game they don't need to charge so much.
Or at least that's what I'm going off.

ogm i see a nipl repoted!1!

But why are they rated less?
Probably because they're the same game and just cost less.

People probably get pissed off because they think they get extra content.

But why are they rated less?
Are you implying a game has to be good to get a stuff load of sales?
Maybe the people who rated it were just starfishs.

I heard it doesnt come with a VIP code! :O
Or thats what some guy claimed

Because they assume once they stick "Platinum hit" on the cover of the game, people will be inclined to buy it, so they can lower the price because they're getting more money from sales.

I liked it when companies advertised that the players liked the game, not that they sell a lot of copies.

Sonic 2006

worst platinum game ever
how the forget it got platinum, I dont know
