com let me redo the entire weapon/upgrade/ship classification system since yours is bad

How is the ammo going to work? I was thinking it would work something like mechwarrior with the tonnage, like how you could decide to forgo utilities like faster missile lock-on or Jump Jets and instead get a couple more shots for your LBX20 shotgun.

also do you get ammo spread out along all guns (15 guns sharing 75 ammo) or assigned to individual guns (each of the 15 guns get 5 ammo)

none of the ships have that much ammo?

But yes, ammo is spread out amongst all guns.

History: After their original home planet was overrun, most tingolians escaped the carnage and formed space colonies around the local star cluster. Over time, they were drawn together, and shared their research and became a whole empire. As their old planet was a post-apocalyptic wasteland, with all forms of civilization overrun with crime and war, they glassed the entire planet and moved on. Tingolians then found a habitable planet and colonized it as New Tingolia. From there, they build up a massive and thriving empire due to being able to start over from the beginning without any mistakes.
Years later, when alien signals are discovered, a massive spacefleet was put into production. The Titan project was also launched to ensure land, space, water, and space dominance against any opposing foe. New Tingolia and colonies are now heavily fortified with these.

Behold: The pride and joy of the Colecoid fleet!

The BATTLECUBE. Despite being classified as a battleship, it is comparable in size to a frigate or destroyer. However, it packs 15 Light Kinetic Energy Weapons capable of obliterating incoming fighters, corvettes, and missiles utilizing the Colecoid race bonus of INCREASED TRACKING SPEED. Unfortunately, it is rather slow and incapable of damaging heavier warships.
