It's up. I figured it out :D

Empire name: The United Colonies of Caprica(UCC)

Physical characteristics: physicality, and mentally adapted to space combat/tactics. Look almost like humans, act just like them.

Homeworld name: Caprica

Species name: Kobolans

History:
The kobolans are a waring race. Generation after generation were brought up on war, and sent into combat. Billions died in the wars, it looked as if the nations on the planet Caprica would never stop waring. There were three great waring nations, the syndicate, Republic of grezt, and Liberation alliance. They've been waring for as long as anyone could remember. Many wars on Caprica were fought within the atmosphere. Most of the nations had limited space warfare capabilities, only using space to shoot WMD's upon an enemy. One nation The United Colonies of Caprica (UCC) took space warfare to a whole new level. Developing large mobile weapon platforms. They were crude, and dangerous to work on, but they were something nobody else had. At this point the whole world was at war again. This was a perfect time for the UCC to show its force by turning one of the great warring nations into many craters . The other nations shocked by this incredible show of force, and power started their own space programs. During this time The UCC had made many improvements to their mobile weapon platforms, so much that they were actually reclassified as ships. Thus begun the age of space warfare practically obsoleting ground battle.

The space battles were ridiculously one sided. The UCC had the fastest and strongest ships. If the UCC was not involved in that battle then another side with more advanced space technology would take the lead. 40 years of battles left the space around Caprica littered with fragmented ship hulls. The war had left two nations, The UCC, and The syndicate still fighting for complete world dominance. The turning point of this war was the moon joubert. A battle in which The UCC mounted an experimental defensive device on board their flag ship Victory. The device generated a very strong electronic field able to deflect most kinetic, or energy projectiles this gave the UCC the advantage. The war ended with the surrender of the syndicate. Effectively giving The UCC control over the world, and solar system.


TL; DR: The UCC is a late world nation that rose to power, and conquered the whole planet. Their history is filled with nonstop war.

Since comr4de isn't on, And I want to build some stuff, i'll be hosting a server "Galaxy 1.0 stuff" if anyone is interested in joining.
I won't be able to assist in building, I'm busy fleshing out combat rules.

History: When American super-soldier Peter Parker dove in front of a truck to save his wealthy parents from the mugger driving it, the truck swerved and a radioactive barrel hit him in the head, exposing him to a large dose of gamma radiation. For a while, he worked as a soldier of fortune, on the run from the law for a crime he didn't commit. Eventually, some criminals caught up with him, and he was brutally murdered in a warehouse somewhere near Detroit. He was then given a new robotic body by the police, and a special chest reactor to keep the shrapnel from killing him.

Also his parents are dead.

Meanwhile on another planet there were fishmen with spaceships.

Battleships and small carriers should be fleshed out into ships of the line. The title of capital ships should belong to the largest, deadliest, and most heavily armored of the fleet. Considering a navy usually has very few capital ships, they shouldn't be allowed to be present at every battle :p

Yeah, i'm stupid. Sorry. Read a bit more on capital ships and they were ships of the line, and so are carriers. My bad. I'm thinking of flagship craft, not Capital ships. :p
