Ship: Eldritch Vessel
An Eldritch Vessel is a ship containing some of the magically gifted higher class of Dragu'Lund society. They have developed special ways of aiding their fleet and destroying the enemy. Each Eldritch Vessel is equipped with 2 of these technologies:
- Warp Nova - Allows adjacent spaceships and the Eldritch Vessel to move into FTL travel instantly to a destination chosen at the time of using it. This also affects enemy spacecraft. Costs 10 energy.
- Mage Armour - Friendly ships in a 3 square radius have 2 more HP (2 or 3 square radius?). After being active for 3 turns it has to recharge for 2 before it can be turned on again. Costs 1 energy every active turn.
- Systems Barrage - Enemy ships in a 3 square radius have +1 to their reload time. After being active for 3 turns it has to recharge for 2 before it can be turned on again. Costs 1 energy every active turn.
- Implosion Rift - The Eldritch Vessel charges itself into a ball of energy. When the turn after this ability has been used starts, the commanding officer can decide to implode the Eldritch Vessel, causing all ships in adjacent squares to take 2 damage. The Eldritch Vessel is destroyed in the process. If it is decided not to implode the Eldritch Vessel, the energy is lost anyway. Costs 10 energy.
The Eldritch Vessel costs 10 CP, has 4 HP and an energy battery of 20.
Perk: Spherical Propulsion
Due to the eldritch origins of the Dragu'Lund Engines, they can propel the ship in any direction and accelerate and deccelerate very fast. Allows a ship to move back to its previous location at the end of its turn. If this is used it has to be announced ahead of time (before any attack rolls etc.) and will cost 2 energy.
Weapon: Archon Mana Ray
An Archon on board the ship in question shoots out a powerful magic beam. This beam will move from the origin ship to the target, and in the turn after that jump to another ship, and in the turn after that again. It persists until it misses a roll or if there are no ships within range to jump to. The range on the beam is 3 squares. It costs 15 weapon points. The beam costs 2 energy and has a 1 turn cooldown.
