When2Abandon Windows?

Hello. So, Some of my dad's computers run Ubuntu 10.04 and I've had some experience using it before. It Rocks. So, My question now is to figure out when is the right time to abandon Windows 7 and use Ubuntu 11.04?
Key factors
RAM= 3GB
HDD= 320GB
CPU Clock= 1.00GHz

I use mostly programs that are Ubuntu Compatible, like

-Google Chrome
-Audacity
-Gimp
-Frames4
-Infra Recorder
-Open Office

That's pretty much all I have on my computer, besides Blockland. Key Point? They all have Ubuntu Compatible versions.

Did i mention that if every pc game in the world supported ubuntu then ubuntu would be the ultimate gaming system because of the 5-10 FPS increase and the 5-10 FPS increase is caused by lower system requirements.

Hahaha, You think I have a Recovery Partition? That's what Flash Drives are for.

Windows keeps saying I should. Though, They also told me that I should spend $160 on Windows 7 Ultimate.

Wine isn't as reliable as most people believe.
And besides, that won't happen after a lifetime, most of the PC gaming market use Windows.
