decals and prints i dont care about but maps are important IMO. they involve scripting.

Almost every Add-On you have listed in your poll is on RTB, which contains Add-Ons to download. The RTB Listings are Add-Ons. If it is the highest rated and has a lot of downloads, I'm pretty sure that would mean it is pretty popular.

You missed out pretty much all of the actual important files that are well known. Half of that stuff on there isn't even that common, sounds like a list you made based off what you like.

As far as I am concerned this is the list of the most famous / influential addons ever built.
