Author Topic: forget you Dell (problems)  (Read 1775 times)

Ok, yes I'm using a Dell, but lets ignore that for now. Its a Inspiron 6000 Windows XP. Now I think I may have a virus, because somethings forgeted up. Whenever I try to boot the computer up, I get the Dell Start up screen, then the whole "last session blah blah blah start windows normally" screen. I select start windows normally, I get the windows startup screen, then boom, back to the Dell startup screen.

safe mode does not work

It should ask to go to safe mode or safe mode with networking.

Hunt it down by disassembling your computer.  If you find a pixel-like worm crawling around in the crevasses get rid of it.

But srs bsns: I have no idea, try completely turning off your computer and waiting for 20 seconds and turning it back on again.
