Author Topic: Problem with Sleeping  (Read 3413 times)

See, folks, at night when I enter my bed to sleep, it does not come to me. Instead, I sit in my bed for usually 2.5 hours awaiting the endless void which is sleep to overcome me, and no strategies I have seen so far have worked.

/Whatdo

I have the exact same problem.

haha forget you im a good sleeper

That's the only thing you're good at.

What I do, is I listen to music and rock in a rocking chair untill Im tired. It usually takes anywhere from 1/2 hours to 2 hours. and when I get tired I just drag myself into bed and fall asleep instantly.

See, problem is,

1. I dont own a Rocking Chair
2. My father doesnt want to see me up AT ALL at night EXCEPT for bathroom usage.

If you have the unaware incapabillity of sleeping, it is mostly considered as the main factor of "Insomnia", which is a common, temporary sleeping disorder, based off of general conclusions including stimulation, fear, other relating diseases/disorders triggering the incapabillity of sleeping, or simply not wanting to sleep.

Mostly, I'd consider improvising, and trying to go to sleep, or atleast rest yourself at short times. Essentially, 9:00 PM, or 7:00 PM. If you cannot fall asleep still, try sleep therapy, rather self-sufficient, or from a doctor.

Gravol; which is notorious for compromising stomach pains, or any abdominal distress, is also prone to cause major fatigue. So at a last desperation, I'd choose harmless medication such as Gravol, to try and influence fatigue in your body.

Um... would Paranoia affect my sleep? Because I am paranoid as hell's bells.

Wo, we got a doctor on the forums now
