It also annoyed me in Fallout 3. The kids in the fallout universe are use to this kind of treatment and they can take care of themselves. You all seen the kids at LittleLampLight and how easily they can defend themselves from super mutants. It's not like you are killing helpless children.

Oh and in Megaton when you decide to detonate the bomb the two children inside will die too.


So in fallout it's okay to:

• Blow up children with nukes.
  
• Kill the child's parents leaving the child to die in the wasteland.

It's hardly noticeable (and a rare occurrence) unless you're looking for dead children, where as if dead island had children, they would be a mob you had to obviously encounter and fight.  That's the difference.

Fallout 3's invincible children thing is bullstuff on so many levels. You're living in a world where society has crumbled down to sand and punishment is given at the tip of a blade or gunpoint. Children have developed a whole TOWN and the sheriff of Megaton can be the CHILD OF THE ORIGINAL SHERIFF. Children are acting like adults and you should be able to kill them.

It pisses me off when people blame violence in children on video games. Most children have a will capable of holding against the "violent influence" of video games. You seriously need to have some kind of mental or emotional issue to have your actions swayed by video games.
