There was a gigantic fire started yesterday, which is eating up austin and has not been put out yet. it is not very far from my area, it looks just a little bit past all of my neighbors fences. the sky is like pencil grey and the air is stuffty. it's still spreading and i heard a firefighter say "We are going to try and flank the fire". maybe that's why they haven't put it out. you can't flank something that doesn't give a stuff.
so yeah everything is being evacuated but we havent been yet.
